Colin MacCormack received his PhD in Classics from the University of Texas at Austin. He now teaches classical languages and literature at Smith College in Northampton, MA. He primarily writes about animals in ancient literature, along with pop-culture receptions of antiquity.

Colin calls himself an avid film nerd, and is the co-host of the Movies We Dig podcast.
