Elijah got her PhD in classical archaeology at the University of Texas at Austin, and is currently an assistant professor in the Academic Writing and Learning Center at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She wrote her dissertation on ancient famine and excavated across the world, from the US, the Netherlands, Sicily, and most recently, Romania.
