Interested in being a guest on the podcast?
Are you a grad student currently (or recently) studying Classics in a post secondary institution and are you interested in sharing your expertise and experience as a guest on the podcast? Please fill out this form to add yourself to our list of potential guests and topics (this is the best way of getting on the show due to the volume of requests we receive).
Grad Chats is a new format of conversation episodes aimed at talking with current, or recent, grad students about the new research they are conducting. These episodes are hosted by Michaela Pangowish, the producer of LTAMB. Just like our regular conversation episodes, these are casual chats between the host and guest about the research they are doing, how research is changing and evolving in the Classics field, and their experiences doing research at the graduate level. This is a new format, and while there may be some growing pains, it stays true to the LTAMB goal of having fun, sharing our love of ancient and nerdy things, and making classics more available to those who may not have had the opportunity to study it at the post secondary level.
More Things to Know:
If you've been on the show before, please still fill this out (you can half ass the questions, just give us the topic and any other relevant information)
If you have more than one major topic in mind, and which you think could reasonably be more than one episode, please fill out a form for each topic
Don't feel like you need to be great at public speaking or presenting, it's a chat about your research and expertise rather than an interview or formal presentation
Note that due to the volume of requests we receive you may not receive a response immediately. Only serious inquiries which fit with the podcast's mandate (unofficially, well informed and progressive topics spanning the entirety of the Ancient Mediterranean and Near East) will be replied to. Filling out this form does not guarantee a spot on the podcast.
